What remains at the place where a murder happened? What constitutes Trans* life? How to cope with daily violence and hatred? We begin to search for traces. We follow the tracks of resistance and survival. We are collectors of the expelled. We gather fragments of Trans*Lives inspired by texts of Nazim Hikmet, Foucault, Benjamin and Zeki Müren.

Maria Binder works as a documentary film maker and human rights activist. She develops concepts for education programmes and cultural events. In her art work she realised several documentaries on the issues of human rights, gender and racism (a selection: "Who are you to speak?", about woman rights violations in Turkey; "Hope in My Heart, Oral Poetry by May Ayim", a Portrait of the Afro-German poet and pioneer of the Black German Movement; "Womens' Prison Barnimstreet. Women Speak About Their Imprisonment 1933-1945.", about a women's prison during National Socialism in Germany). Her films have been shown on international film festivals and educational events.
